About Vancouver

Vancouver covers an area of 44.3 sq. miles (114.7 sq. Km) and is estimated to have a population of 2.7 million people being a coastal city and major seaport, located on the mainland of southwestern British Columbia. It is bounded by the Strait of Georgia and the Coast Mountains.

The Police Centennial Museum now offers numerous programs specifically for kids. A walking tour called “Sins of the City” details Vancouver’s rich history of vice and vice crime. Admission to the museum is $7 for adults and $5 for students and seniors; families (two children and two adults) are $20. The museum is located in Gastown.
